Birthday Weekend!
Friday was my birthday. I turned the big 2 1. Unfortunately I was in San Antonio Texas. My co-worker did a great job in making it a special day. Saturday I came home and played with Sophie until Tyler got home from golfing. We spent the rest of the evening with Sophie, Julie, Jonah, Eli, and the rest of the fam at a carnival the stake put on. It was a lot of fun! Eli loved the train. I think I rode it 6 times. Tyler got to play some football, which he loved as well. Getting out of the house is one of my favorite things! Fall in Utah offers a lot of opportunities to be out and about.
On Sunday Tyler and I decided it was time to attend our new ward. Sacrament meeting was much louder then I ever remember a family ward being. We met some of our new neighbors, well we met a lot of them considering the majority of our block are members. I am excited! Everyone was very friendly, which made us feel very welcome.
That evening Julie (Tyler's mom) threw me a birthday bash! We had yummy Alfredo pasta with an assortment of dishes then finished it all off with a chocolate fountain. There really isn't anything better then fruit covered in chocolate. I got some great gifts from the family. It was a wonderful birthday!
Now the week begins... We have a girls night on Tuesday for me to look forward to. Tyler will be spending all week practicing Hmong. He is graciously translating General Conference. We should be in our house by next Saturday!! HOPEFULLY. I'm forecasting a busy, but great week!

Getting Closer...
Tyler and I are much closer to getting our dream home! We are just about done with all of the paper work and such. I hope we will be in by the end of the month! We have to get some shopping done! We have no bed, couch, fridge, washer or dryer, among other things! I think I will be getting some of it as my birthday gift haha. If anyone knows of any places to get these things for a good deal, please share!
I leave for San Antonio Texas on Friday. Poor Tyler will be lonely. I'm sure work will keep him busy.

The First Blog!

Tyler felt it was important that we created our own blog. It seemed like a fun way to keep me busy. We have just settled back in from a whirlwind of activity. Our wedding was amazing!
Both receptions went so smoothly thanks to many friends and family. We had a fabulous time on our cruise. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will put some up! The cruise was more fun then i thought it would be. We both got a bit seasick Sunday night, but we hardly noticed the swaying by the end of the week. In Puerto Villerta we swam with a dolphin named Triton. It was a blast! Cabo San Lucas was a beautiful city, we both agreed that we enjoyed it more the PV. Our excursion was canceled so instead we rented a jet ski and rode around. It was Tylers first experience on one, he loved it. Back on the boat we enjoyed Ben and Jerrys ice cream (I hope Lisa doesn't read that) and many buffet dinners. There was a rock climbing wall that Tyler dominated, and has the gold medal to prove it. At night we attended the comedy shoes that kept us laughing. Our itty bitty room was perfect for all the mid-day naps we took. It was so relaxing to not have to worry about anything.

Now we are home and catching up on work. My birthday is on Friday!! We are celebrating Sunday night with a chocolate fountain! I can't wait.
Well... I am going to attempt to post this and add some pictures, wish me luck!
